South Peak Movers successfully transported & shipped GRP 6m DIA Tank by road from Rusayl to Sohar port Oman and then loaded in vessel to Hamad port –
The scope of work handled by South Peak Movers included:
- Loading of the tank to a multi-axle trailer & transport to Sohar Port;
- Loading of accessories in 40 “ Flat tracks
- The transport of all cargo by road from Rusayl to Sohar Port with police escort at a distance of around 250km
- Due to the Over width & height the Sohar port authorities given the approval to open their main gate only for this operation.
- Due to the unusual dimension we arranged to reroute the vessel to call in BB terminal(C3 terminal) in Hamad port for specially discharging this cargo.
- This OOG cargo of width of 6m and 5m height is transported 1st in Oman as per ROP by South Peak Movers.
- Total of 8 tanks were transported by South Peak Movers
b) South Peak Movers with Transportation of Wartzila Engine in Oman
This week, Muscat International Shipping & Logistics (Southpeak Movers) have successfully completed the shifting and transportation of a 8.9mw Wartzila engine plus 9 trailer loads of accessories from the Old Khassab Power Station to the Duqm Power Station in Oman. shifting and transportation of a 8.9mw Wartzila engine plus 9 trailer loads of accessories from the Old Khassab Power Station to the Duqm Power Station in Oman.
The project was managed by Mr. Ramseen (Head of Projects), Mr. Mithun (Project Manager) and Mr. Noushad Rahuman (MD) who commented that the task was too difficult to bring the 140tn engine through the Khassab Mountain roads so they opted for a landing craft by sea.
c) Generator movement local Muscat in Oman.
28/11/2018 we have successfully lifted with 100 ton crane and transported approximately 40 Ton – Dim L 5.7 m x W 2.75 m x H 2.65 m and offloaded in our warehouse inside local muscat area. generator will be later wooden crated and sent to Genoa
d) Lifting & installation of glass panels for Aquarium inside Mall of Muscat in Oman.
29/10/2018 we have successfully lifted and installed inside the mall of a single piece glass for aquarium which have 6.7 m height & 8.9 m Thickness 0.4 m width & 31 Ton which will be the biggest glass installation in Oman.
We have used 600 Ton crane to lift and drop down glass inside the building & Chain Pulling devices for final alignment from all sides. We will be fixing different dimensions of heavy glasses throughout this year for malls aquarium.
